Reality show couple starts Star Island construction

Despite a $10.9 million price cut, former reality show couple Lisa and Lenny Hochstein have yet to find a buyer for their Sunset Island 1 house dubbed ‘Palacio del Eden.’

The house, which Curbed suggests is decorated in poor taste, has come on and off the market for years, ranging in price between $10 million and $14 million.

But now that construction is well under way at their controversial new house at 42 Star Island – preservationists fought hard to save the existing historic home on the site – expect to see more serious pricing, and maybe even a buyer. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
