Miller Construction Company hired Ankit Patel as a senior preconstruction manager for the Fort Lauderdale-based design-build and construction services firm. Patel most recently served as preconstruction/VDC manager for D. Stephenson Construction of Fort Lauderdale.

Holland & Knight hired land use and environmental attorney Debbie Orshefsky as a partner. Orshefsky was previously a shareholder and co-chair of the Land Development Practice at Greenberg Traurig, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute Southeast Florida/Caribbean District Council.

Terry Strongin and Rob Beyer were hired at Mission Capital Advisors’ Palm Beach Gardens office. Strongin is joining the firm as a director in the debt and equity finance group, and Beyer is relocating from the company’s New York City headquarters also a director in the debt and equity finance group.

Jacque Huttoe, Charles Huttoe and her commercial real estate firm Huttoe Group LLC are joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Realty. Huttoe has more than 30 years of commercial real estate business experience.

Stewart Title promoted Carlos Iraola as division president of its South Florida offices. Iraola was previously vice president of business development in the Miami office. In his new role, Iraola will drive the expansion plans in Miami Beach and the surrounding area.

Avison Young brought on two previous JLL senior vice presidents. Keith Edelman and Scott Goldstein are veteran tenant representation experts and have completed more than 1,000 transactions.
