Armando Codina, chairman of Codina Partners, and Daniel Berman, CEO of AD1 Global, recently hosted an event welcoming the Jewish Community at Codina’s Downtown Doral development.

When Downtown Doral is completed in 2020, it will include eight to nine mid-rise condo towers, more than 1 million square feet of office space, a K-5 charter school, and 70 retail stores and restaurants. The master-planned community will begin opening this year. 5252 Paseo, a 203-unit 20-story tower, is completely presold to mostly Latin American buyers, and the charter school will open this fall.

Nearby, the Related Group and Shoma Homes are developing CityPlace Doral, also a master-planned, mixed-use community. Century Homebuilders Group and its partners are developing Midtown Doral, another mixed-use project similar to Midtown Miami. — Katherine Kallergis and Sean Stewart-Muniz
