Bradenton surgical center changes hands for $5.46M

A surgical center sold the building in Bradenton that it has occupied for 16 years for $5.46 million.

Manatee Surgical Center sold the 13,000-square-foot building to Caddis Healthcare Real Estate and leased it back, said Jason Signor, CEO of Caddis, so the surgical center will continue to operate in the building.

It was the latest in a series of multi-million-dollar sales of medical buildings in Manatee County, including several sale-leaseback deals.

Signor said the  building acquisition in Bradenton was the first by Caddis in Florida. He said the company wants to buy senior housing in Florida and plans to develop a surgical center in Tampa, he said. [Bradenton Herald] – Mike Seemuth
