PHOTOS: On the scene at Icon Bay’s park opening

The Related Group recently hosted the grand opening of its Icon Bay Park along with the National YoungArts Foundation.

The park, at 460 Northeast 28th Street in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, is adjacent to Icon Bay, a 42-story condo tower. Eventually, the park will be a part of the planned Biscayne Line project, a linear park that runs along Biscayne Bay.

City of Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, Related’s Jorge Perez and Carlos Rosso, and Arquitectonica principal and founding member Bernardo Fort-Brescia, among others, attended the event. The Related Group’s portfolio includes CityPlace Doral, Hyde Midtown, and the Paraiso complex in Edgewater. — TRD
