    Lime Fresh Mexican Grill is expanding.

    The Miami Beach-born restaurant concept is heading to five new spaces in South Florida, broker Michael Silverman told The Real Deal. Silverman and Jeff Evans, both of the Comras Company, brokered the leases in Midtown Miami, North Miami, Dania Pointe, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. [more]

    A judge has issued mixed rulings in the ongoing litigation pitting Jockey Club residents in North Miami against the developers of the proposed Apeiron at the Jockey Club.

    Miami-Dade Circuit Judge John W. Thornton ruled in favor of the developers on one set of grounds, but denied their motion on another, and the case will now head to trial, as the residents continue to try to block the development of the condo and hotel project. [more]

    West Dixie Highway in North Miami has long been viewed as a run-down part of the city. But now there is movement afoot to redevelop some of the apartments and low-scale commercial buildings in the area, most of which were built in the first couple of decades after World War II.

    An investor and developer group signed a “memo of understanding” with the city at the end of January to enter into a joint development agreement to develop several parcels of land in the vicinity of 131st Street and West Dixie Highway. [more]
