    Airbnb has cracked South Florida.

    The short-term rental platform signed a deal with the town of Surfside to begin collecting and remitting taxes on March 1, marking the first municipality in South Florida to do so.  [more]

  • ASRR taps architect Antonio Citterio for Arte in Surfside

    ASRR Capital Ltd. the publicly-traded Israeli company led by New York real estate moguls Alex Sapir and Rotem Rosen — and its partner, the Suzer Group of Turkey, have tapped prominent architect Antonio Citterio to design their planned residential development in Surfside.

    The 12-story condominium tower, to be called Arte by Antonio Citterio, will mark the architect’s first project in the United States.

    And just in time for Art Basel, the partnership has placed a sculpture by Robert Indiana on the vacant site at 8955 Collins Avenue, Sapir and Rosen told The Real Deal.
