eXp Realty was named in a sexual harassment federal lawsuit in Nevada, adding to a growing list of serious allegations involving Glenn Sanford’s brokerage.

On Tuesday, Misty Carter, a former agent based in Reno, filed a lawsuit against eXp, former team leader Chris Nevada and Nevada Real Estate Group, Inman reported. The suit accuses Nevada of sexual harassment and retaliation.

Nevada is accused of making sexual remarks at work, offering to pay Carter for sex, unwanted touching, attempts at kissing and inappropriate texts. When Carter rebuffed him, she was terminated, according to the suit.

Notably, Carter identifies herself as an employee and not a contractor, as is common in the industry. She worked for the Nevada Real Estate Group from December 2021 to June 2022.

The lawsuit alleges eXp was aware of Nevada’s behavior. Nevada and his group are no longer at eXp, leaving for LPT Realty last year.

Carter’s charges against the defendants include sexual harassment, retaliation, battery, infliction of emotional distress and malicious interference with prospective economic advantage. She seeks damages and a jury trial.

Nevada didn’t respond to Inman’s request for comment. A spokesperson for eXp said the company takes its “responsibility to foster a safe and inclusive environment very seriously” and has launched an investigation.

The lawsuit comes weeks after another lawsuit was filed against eXp, where the victim alleged she was drugged and sexually assaulted by agents of the brokerage. Those same agents, Michael Bjorkman and David Golden, were also accused of sexual misconduct in another lawsuit earlier last year.

Sanford has said the issue with Golden and Bjorkman is resolved, but hasn’t publicly commented on the ongoing litigation.

The company’s culture has been called into question. In April 2022, a female consultant wrote a letter to the company’s board of directors to take action on behalf of women reporting assaults, only to be ignored, according to a New York Times report. Six months later, a broker filed an ethics complaint against her supervisor after he solicited her for photos of her watching pornography. In May, a broker was allegedly raped by a photographer she met at an eXp affiliate’s party.
