Las Vegas has barreled into 2024 on pace for record home price deals.

Eight homes are listed north of $18 million — with a MacDonald Highlands home seeking to top last year’s sales record, now asking $34 million, the Las Vegas Business Press reported.

Las Vegas set its all-time record last year with Celine Dion’s home in Summit Club sold for $30 million, or $5 million higher than the previous record set in MacDonald Highlands in 2021.

That same 15,000-square-foot MacDonald Highlands home at 685 Dragon Peak Drive is now listed for $34 million by billionaire Anthony Hsieh, founder and chairman of loanDepot, an Irvine-based non-bank home mortgage lender.

In 2021, he bought the new Henderson hillside home built by custom developer Blue Heron for $25 million.

The three-story mansion has seven rooms that can serve as bedrooms, nine baths and a seven-car garage. It has a butterfly roof, two infinity saltwater pools, a glass bridge and a glass wine cellar. There’s a separate office casita, 5,000 square feet of decks, 300 solar panels and Tesla-charging stations spread over 1.25 acres.

At No. 2, a 15,600-square-foot mansion with eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a five-car garage at 761 Dragon Ridge Drive in MacDonald Highlands is listed for $29.9 million. Built in 2016 by Sun West Custom Homes, it sits on 1.23 acres.
