The head of Las Vegas Realtors has been temporarily booted from her office after allegations of election tampering.

Wendy DiVecchio, CEO of the largest real estate group in Nevada, was suspended for 30 days because of allegations she interfered with the 2025 election of LVR board officers and directors, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, citing unidentified real estate agents.

The organization of nearly 16,000 agents has launched an investigation into “allegations of election impropriety,” according to an internal memo from LVR President Merri Perry, which didn’t name DiVecchio or outline details of the alleged tampering.

“On Aug. 8, our LVR leadership team was notified of an allegation of abnormalities in the processes and procedures in administering last week’s election for the 2025 LVR Board of Directors,” the memo, which was emailed to LVR members, stated.

“Immediately after receiving these allegations, LVR President Merri Perry called for an emergency meeting of LVR’s Board of Directors, which was held Aug. 9 and reviewed findings relating to how the election was administered.”

The memo obtained by the Review-Journal said the group didn’t believe the alleged tampering affected the outcome of the election.

The internal memo said that “out of an abundance of caution, the Board of Directors resolved to engage a neutral third party to investigate the administering of the election to determine if anything improper may have occurred.”

DiVecchio has worked for the Las Vegas Realtors for more than 25 years, according to her LinkedIn page. The CEO is a paid employee, not an elected official.

The LVR executive didn’t respond to multiple requests for comment by the newspaper. Perry, its president, declined to comment.

“For the privacy and protection of our employees and staff, we are unable to comment about employment or personnel matters,” Perry said in a statement.

In March, a physical altercation broke out between two local real estate agents at an LVR Brokers Forum, ending with police being at the scene, according to the Review-Journal. The group acknowledged the incident, but said it was a “verbal altercation.” It didn’t name the agents involved in the dispute, or which one was removed from the conference by police.
