Two industry veterans have reunited to take on Nashville’s bustling commercial real estate market.
Stream Realty Partners appointed Charlie Gibson as partner and managing director of its Nashville office, bolstering the firm’s leadership team in one of the nation’s fastest-growing markets, the Nashville Business Journal reported.
Gibson will work alongside Rob Lowe, executive managing director and partner, who is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the Nashville office. Lowe, who previously served as senior managing director at Cushman & Wakefield Nashville, joined Stream in 2021 to lead the local office.
Gibson brings more than a decade of experience to the role. He previously served as vice chair at Cushman’s Nashville office and credits Lowe with getting him into the commercial real estate business 10 years ago.
Gibson has completed over $1 billion in leasing and sales transactions in the past decade, the outlet reported.
Stream’s Nashville office has grown rapidly since its opening in 2019. The firm, which specializes in leasing, investment sales and property management, ranked as the ninth-largest commercial real estate brokerage in the city, after generating over $160 million in lease volume in 2023.
Nashville’s office market is thriving compared to other major metros. Rising demand, especially from the tech sector, is being bolstered by major investments from Amazon and Oracle.

Nashville’s average asking rent is $36.57 per square foot, surpassing other major Southern cities like Atlanta, Charlotte and Dallas.
