The Bellevue spot where Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and music superstar Ciara once lived is back on the market.
The 0.8-acre property at 903 Shoreland Drive Southeast in Bellevue’s Meydenbauer neighborhood is listed for $28 million, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported. The offering, from luxury builder MacPherson Construction and Design, is for the pre-sale of a customizable waterfront residence on the lot, which is on Lake Washington’s waterfront. .
Shoreland LLC, an entity tied to Bellevue Chamber member Nicolette Sharp, acquired the parcel from Wilson and Ciara in June 2022 for $9.8 million. MacPherson Construction owner Roger MacPherson plans to front the cost of construction, the outlet said.
Wilson owned the property for three years, purchasing it in 2019 for $6.7 million.
The property was listed in September 2023 as vacant land for $11.3 million. It took a significant price cut a year later.
MacPherson Construction plans to construct an 8,200-square-foot mansion with 110 feet of lake frontage. The home would have five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms and amenities including a pool, elevator and garages capable of housing five cars. The lower level is slated to include a guest suite, fully equipped bar, a fitness room, sauna and an indoor golf room.
Construction is expected to begin once permits are approved, with hopes of finishing in 2028, though the property is available now for pre-purchase.
The median home price in Bellevue, a suburb about 10 miles east of Seattle, across Lake Washington, is $1.5 million.
The housing market there is divided, as home prices near the median are stagnant, while prices keep climbing in the ultra-luxury market, for houses over $10 million.
Driving the economy is investment from tech firms including OpenAI and Microsoft, which had its headquarters in Bellevue until 1986. Microsoft still has a presence in the town, along with outposts for eBay, Meta, ByteDance (the owner of TikTok), Oracle, Salesforce and Google.
