A state board this morning cancelled its vote on whether to provide $300 million in public money for the proposed Jets stadium on the West Side of Manhattan. The vote was expected in Albany this afternoon. This marks the third time the Public Authorities Control Board has declined to vote on the public funding, which would provide a major boost toward building the stadium. Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a proponent of the stadium, told the Associated Press today that the vote had been postponed until Monday. more [ABC]
