Brooklyn arena quietly becoming a reality

Even as the proposed West Side stadium flounders in what could be its death throes, developer Bruce Ratner’s arena for his New Jersey Nets continues to move forward in Prospect Heights with the support of some of the same people opposed to the West Side stadium.
