Largest Ikea in the country to land in Brooklyn

Furniture giant Ikea has closed on a $31.25 million purchase of 48 acres of waterfront land in Red Hook. Ikea plans to open a 346,000-square-foot superstore its largest in the U.S. on 22.5 acres of the land.
