Extra, Extra! Ratner debuts pro-arena newspaper

Developer Bruce Ratner published a new newspaper this weekend touting the goodness of his proposed New Jersey Nets arena on the old Atlantic rail yards in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The 16-page Brooklyn Standard features headlines like “Brooklyn’s Booming: Atlantic Yards Will Bring Jobs, Housing and Hoops.” Ratner and Prospect Heights residents have not always seen eye-to-eye on the arena’s possible impact. more [Sun]
