Manhattan apartment prices set fresh records

A single square foot of living space in Manhattan now costs nearly $1,000 as apartment prices continued to set records in April through June, according to a study by Miller Samuel for Prudential Douglas Elliman. The average sale price of an apartment during the past three months topped $1.3 million, 8.5 percent higher than the record set at the end of March.
