Stadium still a go as NYC loses Olympics bid

The International Olympic Committee selected London as the host of the 2012 summer Games, eliminating New York and three other cities from contention. Plans will still go forward, however, for a new stadium in Flushing that had been touted as a would-be Olympic arena. more [NYT]
