Signs of housing battle in Park Slope

Homeowners in the southern half of Park Slope the so-called South Slope neighborhood are putting up signs that read “House Not for Sale” to protest the recent increase in development in an area of Brooklyn where home prices have begun to rapidly appreciate. Some developers want to build tall residential buildings in South Slope, where zoning regulations don’t limit building heights as much as surrounding areas. Some residents don’t want that. more [WSJ]
