Would-be mayors: No public funds for stadiums

Staying close to the Democratic Party line, four New York mayoral candidates pledged they wouldn’t support city funding for private business development, such as sports stadiums unlike the man they want to unseat in November, Republican incumbent Michael Bloomberg.
