Brooklyn-Queens creek set for development

Newtown Creek, which forms part of the border between Queens and Brooklyn, may become the next waterfront for pricey residential development in New York. New zoning rules were passed in May for the waterfront in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, and at least three luxury condo buildings are planned in Greenpoint on the Brooklyn side of the creek. The condos may go for as much as $750 a square foot. more [NYT]
