Imagine Brooklyn with no housing construction

A group of Brooklyn residents calling itself the Gravesend/Bensonhurst Quality of Life Committee is petitioning the city to stop all housing construction in Brooklyn until the zoning throughout the borough can be evaluated. Any moratorium on Brooklyn construction, however, would have to go through a long approval process before it ever became a reality. more [NYT]
