No longer your father’s Upper East Side

Increasingly less expensive than the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side is starting to draw the sorts of residents who would normally have scoffed at the notion of living east of Central Park and above 59th Street. Some brokers estimate that a dollar on the Upper East Side, in fact, goes 20 to 25 percent further there than on the Upper West Side or Downtown. more [NYT]
