Hotel going up near World Trade Center site

Plans are moving ahead for a new hotel at the corner of Greenwich and North Moore Streets in Tribeca. Actor Robert De Niro and hotelier Ira Drukier plan to build a seven-story, 83-room hotel, and on Tuesday received approval for it from the Board of Standards and Appeals. Funding for the hotel includes $38.9 million in Liberty Bonds. more [NYO]
