Washington Square Park redesign inches closer

The redesign of Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village is drawing closer to a final vote by the local community board. As the October vote nears, more area residents are coming out against the proposed redesign, especially the plans for fences around the park and for leveling the sunken area around the fountain. more [Post]
