City issuing property tax rebates

At least 625,000 homeowners across the city can expect $400 property tax rebates from the city. The rebates are being issued this week and will not have Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s signature, in deference to it being election season. Homeowners are eligible for the rebates if their house is their primary residence and if they don’t owe more than $25 in property taxes. more [NYDN]
