More apartments are apparently headed to the edge of Bryant Park. The 20-story Springs Mills Building at 104 West 40th Street was recently bought for a reported $120 million. The new owners, Mermel & McLain Management and pension fund ASB Capital, plan to expand the 200,000-square-foot glass tower overlooking Bryant Park by 70,000 feet for residential apartments.
