Ben Bernanke, President Bush’s nominee to replace Alan Greenspan as Federal Reserve chairman, is expected to face tough questions tomorrow as his Senate confirmation hearing gets under way. A former Federal Reserve board member and currently chairman of Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers, Bernanke should expect questions on the nation’s housing market and on inflation fears. more [WSJ]
