Developer the Hudson Companies will Tuesday evening make the first public presentation on a plan to build what would become the tallest building in the East Village a 26-story New York University dorm at 110-124 East 12th Street. The proposed dorm, according to the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation, is the first development project overseen by NYU president John Sexton, and, the society says, could serve as a test case for future town-gown relations, especially in light of a possible downzoning of the East Village.
