A reduced role for Silverstein at Ground Zero?

Developer Larry Silverstein’s longtime financial partner says he and Silverstein are open to taking a reduced role in the redevelopment of Ground Zero. “If there is a deal that makes sense,” Lloyd Goldman said this week, “we would evaluate and accept.” Silverstein stressed as recently as Monday his intention to move forward with new office construction at Ground Zero, despite objections from Gov.
