City moves to revamp Sunset Park property

The city wants proposals on how to revamp a former Navy property in Sunset Park in southern Brooklyn. The Economic Development Corporation this week called for proposals on how to redevelop a 1.1-million-square-foot building that could create or retain about 2,500 jobs for 100 light manufacturing firms.
