High Line attracting higher-end condos

The High Line, that 22-block of future public parkland ending at 34th Street in western Chelsea, could one day have as many as 5,500 units of housing along it. Developers, seeing an opportunity for condo glitz in an area traditionally associated with slabs of rentals, have been snatching up all available land along the High Line, the first section of which is expected to open in 2008. more [NYT]
