Mayor sounds off on Freedom Tower prospects

Mayor Bloomberg said recently that developer Larry Silverstein should have an easier time finding tenants for his 2 World Trade Center, yet to be built, than for the proposed Freedom Tower. A rep for Silverstein said tenants have already expressed interest in 2 World Trade, where the start of construction is at least a year away. The developer announced last week that British architect Norman Foster would design that tower. more [Downtown Express]
