Brooklyn Bridge Park condos may spark lawsuit

Opponents of the luxury condos slated for the new Brooklyn Bridge Park are gearing up to file a lawsuit to stop the condos from opening. The first condos, from developer Robert Levine, will be ready in about a year. These 450 units are only the tip of the iceberg in the 1.3-mile-long waterfront park: As many as 1,240 luxury condos are planned to help pay the public park’s annual $15 million maintenance costs.
