Basketball City could bounce to Lower East Side

Basketball City might be coming to the Lower East Side. The city is reportedly clearing out the Office of Emergency Management’s facilities on Pier 36 just north of the Manhattan Bridge to make room for Basketball City, a company that operates private basketball courts near Chelsea Piers.
