Hotel-condo project planned for Midtown

A new hotel and condo development will go up in Midtown. Developer Harry Macklowe reportedly plans to raze five old brick structures at the southwest corner of Madison Avenue and 53rd Street, and will build a tower of several hundred thousand square feet.
