30-year mortgage rate at highest since ’02

The 30-year fixed mortgage rate increased this week to its highest level in more than three and a half years. The rate rose to 6.37 percent for the week ending today, according to Freddie Mac, up from the prior week’s 6.24 percent. The 30-year rate hasn’t been this high since Aug. 2, 2002. more [CNN/Money]
