Yankees to create trust fund with new stadium

The New York Yankees will contribute $28 million over 40 years to a trust fund for the public, according to the franchise’s proposal for a new stadium. But none of that fund, under the proposal, would necessarily be spent in the South Bronx, where the new Yankee Stadium would be.
