Silverstein’s style — negotiate till they drop

Larry Silverstein perfected his patented “negotiate till they drop” style yeas ago, and it’s come in handy during his recent negotiations with the Port Authority over the fate of the World Trade Center site. Silverstein is the leaseholder there, the Port Authority owns it, and Silverstein is reportedly trying to wrangle from the government agency every last concession he can before he turns over any part of the site. more [NYT]
