Prudential Douglas Elliman plans to open an office in Williamsburg by the middle of the summer. The brokerage giant would become the first of the big Manhattan-based firms to open an office in what has been for at least a decade one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Brooklyn. The new 1,500-square-foot, storefront office will be located at 299 Bedford Avenue, at South 1st Street, according to Michael Moran, Douglas Elliman’s director of sales and a broker specializing in Brooklyn. The office will be headquarters for 25 to 30 agents, Moran said Tuesday, and will have about 40 feet of street-facing windows. By Tom Acitelli
