Red Hook inches toward gentrification

Newly built condos in Red Hook are selling for around $700,000 for two-bedrooms and $825,000 for three. One-bedrooms in the Brooklyn neighborhood rent for under $1,2000 and two-bedrooms go for $1,500. As Red Hook, however, continues to draw developer interest and continues to gentrify, these prices could all soon shoot upward. more [Voice]
