No Jets stadium, but still work on the West Side

As the city approaches the one-year anniversary of the collapse of the far West Side stadium deal, Mayor Bloomberg is touting his administration’s development plans for that area of Manhattan. For one thing, construction on the extension of the No. 7 subway line is expected to start before the end of this year, and work on the expansion of the Jacob Javits Center should start soon. more [NYDN]
