Whitehead, LMDC chairman, resigns

The chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation has resigned. John Whitehead, who’s headed the corporation for more than four years, said at a meeting Thursday morning that his last day on the job would be May 31. Whitehead, 84, is also leaving as chairman of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation, but will stay on its board. more [NY1]
