Leaders weigh in on P.S. 64 battle

The battle over the former P.S. 64 in the East Village continues to escalate. On Monday, local leaders, including Manhattan borough President Scott Stringer, turned up at the site to protest owner Gregg Singer’s ongoing demolition of the school, despite its being a landmark.
