Brooklyn home prices up, report says

Brooklyn home prices were up from the first half of 2005 through the first half of 2006, according to a new report. The average Brooklyn apartment sold for $491,000 in the first six months of 2006, up 4 percent from the same period last year, according to the mid-year report from the Real Estate Board of New York.
