City, Silverstein differ on future rent

The Bloomberg administration and the Port Authority tentatively agreed in April to lease 600,000 square feet in one of the towers Larry Silverstein plans to build at the World Trade Center site, but the parties have not agreed on rent. Silverstein wants $78 a square foot for the space, at least $20 more than what either the Port Authority or the city wants to pay. more [NYT]
