“Automated garages” on the rise

For years, urban drivers in Japan and Europe have been parking their cars in “automated garages” that lift cars into their spots using computerized machines. The high-tech garages greatly increase the number of cars that can be held in a garage, but the trend has been slow to catch on in the United States.
