Construction disturbs East Villagers
Cooper Square-area residents have been complaining about neighborhood disruptions caused – or that they expect to be caused – by several construction projects. Four buildings are currently rising or proposed around Cooper Square, including an in-progress hotel and residential tower as well as another proposed residential tower and Cooper Union’s planned replacement for the Hewitt Building.
