Home builders’ earnings decline

Analysts are projecting that U.S. home builders’ fourth-quarter earnings will show a marked decline from the third quarter. One analyst, Alex Barron of JMP, is forecasting an 80 percent earnings decline for the 17 home builders he tracks.
