Designer Giorgio Armani has leased more than 40,000 square feet at 717 Fifth Avenue, the former site of a Hugo Boss store. When it opens in spring 2008, the Armani store will use some of the space for a restaurant. The 15-year deal was worth $250 million, according to reports. SL Green and Jeff Sutton own the retail space leased by Armani; Macklowe Properties and the Blackstone Group own the rest of the 26-story Class A building. more [Post]
